Dziś w poniedziałek 6 kwietnia kilka minut po godzinie 14:00 do Stanowiska Kierowania Komendanta Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Nowym Tomyślu wpłynęło zgłoszenie o pożarze trawy w miejscowości Zgierzynka.
Na miejsce natychmiast wysłano zastępy strażaków z Jednostki Ratowniczo-Gaśniczej Nowy Tomyśl, OSP Posadowo, OSP Kuślin, OSP Zgierzynka, a także jeden zastęp strażaków z powiatu szamotulskiego OSP Pniewy.
Spaleniu uległo około jednego hektara trawy wraz z nieużytkami. Około godziny 15:25 wszystkie zastępy wróciły do swoich koszar. Dzięki szybkiej reakcji udało się szybko opanować pożar i nie doszło do rozprzestrzenienia się ognia.
