Dzisiaj 26 marca o godzinie 9:54 do Stanowiska Kierowania Komendanta Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Złotowie wpłynęło zgłoszenie o pożarze tartaku w miejscowości Tarnówka (Powiat Złotowski, Gmina Tarnówka).
Po przybyciu na miejsce pierwszych zastępów straży pożarnej zastali oni pożar hali magazynowo-produkcyjnej o wymiarach 33x13x5. W chwili wybuchu pożaru w środku hali znajdowały się urządzenia do procesu technologicznego do produkcji peletu,trocin.
Przyczyną pożaru było najprawdopodobniej zwarcie instalacji elektrycznej. W konsekwencji doszło do wybuchu butli propan-butan, umieszczonym na wózku widłowym, który znajdował się w hali.
Jak informuje nas oficer prasowy st.asp.Kazimierz Wiebskowski z PSP Złotów w dniu dzisiejszym w hali, gdzie doszło do pożaru produkcja była ograniczona – brak osób poszkodowanych. Pracownicy, którzy przebywali w tartaku, po usłyszeniu wybuchy zauważyli pożar oraz powiadomiono od razu odpowiednie służby.
Po wybuchu butli propan-butan hala magazynowo-produkcyjnego całkowicie stanęła w ogniu. W wyniku pożaru oraz wybuchy 3/4 konstrukcji dachu uległa całkowitemu zawaleniu do środka. Spaleniu uległy również wszystkie urządzenia, które znajdowały się w środku.
W całości zdarzenia na miejscu uczestniczyło 14 wozów ratowniczo-gaśniczych w tym dwa samochody służby operacyjnej Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Złotowie oraz Pogotowie Energetyczne i Policja.
Działania na miejscu zakończono około godziny 13:30
