Dyspozytor natychmiast na miejsce wysłał dwa zastępy miejscowych strażaków ochotników z Łobżenicy oraz jeden zastęp z Jednostki Ratowniczo-Gaśniczej z Piły nr 2.
Po dojeździe na miejsce zdarzenia pierwszych zastępów straży potwierdzono zgłoszenie, a zarazem zastano wydobywający się dym z pod maski.
Do działań strażaków należało usunięcie maski z pojazdu oraz podanie jednego prądu piany ciężkiej. Po ugaszeniu pożaru jednostki wróciły do swoich koszar.
