Wczoraj 13 kwietnia o godzinie 21:36 Dyżurny Stanowiska Kierowania Komendanta Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Nowym Tomyślu odebrał zgłoszenie z którego wynikało, że doszło do pożaru dachu budynku mieszkalnego jednorodzinnego oraz że niepotrzebna jest pomoc Zespołu Ratownictwa Medycznego.
Po przybyciu Straży Pożarnej na miejsce zdarzenia zastano palący się dach i poddasze budynku mieszkalnego. Mieszkańcy jeszcze przed przybyciem zastępów straży pożarnej opuścili budynek.
W pierwszej kolejności działania Straży Pożarnej polegały na zabezpieczeniu miejsca zdarzenia, wyłączeniu prądu w skrzynce energetycznej znajdującej się na zewnątrz budynku, podaniu dwóch prądów gaśniczych do wnętrza budynku oraz jednego prądu wody z SD 30 (podnośnik) na palącą się konstrukcje dachu.

Mieszkańcy (2 dorosłych, 6 dzieci) przebywali w samochodzie OSP Wytomyśl, a następnie zostali zabrani na noc przez rodzinę.
